Our approach
ASTERKIND aims to provide a shopping experience that can be used with common assistive technologies and different input methods. Accessibility is an ongoing operational responsibility, not a one-time certification.
Our design and content target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable. This is an operational target, not a claim that the complete website or a third-party service has been independently certified.
The website is designed to include:
- semantic page structure and headings;
- keyboard-operable navigation, product options and checkout controls;
- labels and validation messages for form fields;
- text alternatives for approved product images;
- visible focus states and readable color contrast;
- responsive layouts for desktop and mobile; and
- text links to customer policies and support.
Third-party payment
Payment takes place on PayPal. PayPal controls the accessibility, language, authentication and available payment methods on its pages. If a PayPal barrier prevents payment, use contact & order help so we can document the issue and identify an available lawful alternative; never send payment credentials to customer care.
Report an accessibility barrier
Use Customer support is temporarily unavailable or contact & order help and include:
- the page address;
- the task you were trying to complete;
- the browser, device or assistive technology involved; and
- a description or screenshot that does not expose passwords or payment credentials.
We will review reasonable accessibility requests and provide information in an alternative format where reasonably available.
Continuous review
New content, product images, third-party integrations and checkout changes should be tested with keyboard navigation, zoom and representative assistive technology before release. This statement does not claim formal conformance or certification that has not been independently verified.
Reasonable measures include assigning accessibility responsibility during release review, preserving semantic controls, requiring alternative text in the product image workflow, testing keyboard focus and responsive zoom, and tracking reported barriers for remediation. We will update this statement if a formal assessment establishes a more specific conformance status.
