Cookie & browser storage notice

Essential browser storage, server logs and PayPal technologies used with ASTERKIND.

Effective July 29, 2026

This notice supplements the Privacy notice. “Browser storage” includes cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies.

Technologies used by ASTERKIND

Technology Purpose Typical duration
Local browser storage Keeps shopping-bag products, options and quantities available on the same browser Until replaced or cleared through browser controls
Session browser storage Protects and reconnects the current checkout and payment-return session Normally until the browser tab or session is closed or the data is cleared
Essential administrator cookie Authenticates an authorized user in the restricted administration area; it is not used for customer advertising Until logout or session expiry
Server access and security logs Operates the service, rate-limits abuse, diagnoses errors and investigates security events Retained according to operational, security and legal needs

The customer storefront does not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. ASTERKIND browser storage is used for functions requested by the visitor, not for cross-site behavioral advertising.

PayPal technologies

When you continue to PayPal, you leave the ASTERKIND website. PayPal may use cookies or similar technologies to recognize a browser or PayPal account, authenticate the user, prevent fraud, process payment and apply PayPal preferences. Those technologies are controlled by PayPal, not ASTERKIND.

Review the PayPal Privacy Statement and PayPal’s cookie information for available controls.

Browser controls

You can inspect or clear cookies and site data through browser settings. Blocking or clearing essential storage may empty the shopping bag, disconnect the order session, prevent payment confirmation from displaying or require an administrator to sign in again.

Because ASTERKIND does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, opt-out preference signals do not change current storefront behavior. See the Privacy notice for privacy rights and request instructions.

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals that do not have a single industry-standard meaning. The storefront does not currently respond differently to those signals because it does not use cross-site advertising trackers. Where applicable law requires recognition of Global Privacy Control or another universal opt-out signal, we will honor it for any future sale or sharing practice. See Your privacy choices.

Changes and contact

If advertising, analytics or another non-essential technology is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before deployment. For questions, use contact & order help.
